All the book clubs I've seen have been for moms or people over 35. I'm 24 and I wanted to meet other book-lovers around my age in the area. Encompassing a wide variety of genres and authors from children's books to classics we'll aim to read a new book every three weeks or so. We'll meet to discuss the books in a relaxed informal environment. Even though we're a 35 and younger meetup group if you're an older person wanting to read more youthful books, I would be willing to make exceptions. Pleas …

Each month, we will read and discuss and/or write about a great classic written by various American or European authors. Some of these books we may have read as children or teens, others may be new to us, but all have had a significant impact on readers around the globe and are worth a read, or even a second read. We will meet at a coffee/tea shop or a wine bar each month to discuss the book of the month and share anything we have written about the book, if designated as an optional assignment.

Hi, children's book scribblers and doodlers! Every week we hold a 15 minute info session on topics ranging from craft to publishing. Next, four individuals present their work or ideas for a group critique (20 minutes each). We give one another feedback, swap ideas, pair up word folks and picture folks, and support one another on the yellow brick road to Publishdom. (Picture books, chapter books, and YA novels all welcome)
This is a group for energetic, friendly individuals who enjoy books and movies and who work together to support their neighborhood library. All of us will be called upon in our lives to do great things. A calling. In our families. In our friendships. In our professional lives. As we are today, can we truly achieve all that we are capable of? iImprove is a testing ground for each of us. Whether its in our finances or in our faith, the only limits we have on our achievements are imposed by us. Join us, if you dare to improve yourselves – to become better leaders, workers, friends, spouses, parents, siblings, children, and people. Be i …
